My name is Jennifer Torres. I have been teaching Kindergarten for 5 years. I live in Redwood City, and I have 2 children that attend Redwood City public schools. The reason I became a teacher is because I enjoy making a difference in a child’s life. I adore watching the different expressions that children display when they have learned something new in my classroom.
The students in my classroom are immersed in a program that is rich with life, love, and discovery. They encounter an adventure in learning that generates a lifetime of childhood memories.

	Highlights of the Kindergarten experience in Room 25: † Early Birds/Later Gators Staggered Schedule to provide a smaller group setting for 50 minutes every day † Cutting edge instructional techniques—such as BoardMath and BoardLanguage, and GLAD † Small group, Whole group, and Managed Independent Work opportunities throughout the day † Opportunities to mix and mingle with Targeted Instruction Groups (a.k.a.
