Welcome to my Classroom.

The Resource Specialist Program is here to assist students with learning disabilities that are having trouble with academic skills. These are students who need help less than 50% of the day.

If they need academic help for *more* than 50% of the day, then they are enrolled in a Special Day Class.

For more information about Special Ed. Click Here and go down the Parent's Path, the Special Ed. Path, or knock on the door of the Little Red Scholhouse to come into my Virtual classroom.

Colorful and interesting displays and plants in the room help motivate students, make them feel comfortable and safe, while encouraging conversations and questions.

To go to my website and get curriculum ideas, click here and knock on the door! Then, click on the chalkboard to enter and look for CURRICULUM on the bookshelf.

Our library not only consists of student reading and references, but also reading, reference and resources for teachers.

The RSP C-Lab is to help students reduce the stress of handwriting and poor motor skills by giving them the opportunity to type their stories. It is easy to make corrections on the computer than have them rewrite their stories all over again.

It is also a great way to have them access information on a huge array of topics. With poor reading skills is is sometimes grueling to go through the dictionary or encyclopedias to find information. Using the internet, they are able to speed up the process of finding information and proceed on their assignments.
